Let’s talk about you and the Virus, how to live in uncertain times, how nature boosts your health, laughing is good for you, how to exercise 312 times a year, and a couple of songs.   

IS IT YOU OR THE VIRUS? (just don’t embrace the fear of the virus)

There are some scientists and physicians that are asking whether the problem is the strength of the virus or the host’s health.  In other words, why are only some people getting the coronavirus and not others, and why only some die and the others recover?  The host is you and the reason, for the most part, has to do with the strength of your immune system.  To be a “good host” and make it easy for (any) virus to catch you, just don’t get enough sleep, eat poorly, smoke tobacco, drink alcohol excessively, have a lousy nervous system and don’t exercise.  To be a lousy host, change the above scenario.

The real reason chiropractors adjust your spine is to remove musculoskeletal pressure on your nerves and restore them to normal function.  A normal functioning nervous system is supposed to protect you from viruses, bacteria and fungi, but you have to take care of it, too.  That’s where a healthy lifestyle and spinal adjustments come in.  Will you still get a cold or the flu some time? Of course, no one’s on top of their game all the time, but if you make it easy to embrace a healthy lifestyle with positive habits, you’ll most likely be one of those persons who doesn’t contract the flu/cold/virus/smelly armpits.

My offices are open at this time.  Chiropractic is considered an essential service (of course it is).  We are following all the COVID-19 protocols with sterilizing, social distancing and wearing masks.
