He assessed me, worked out the adhesions in the soft tissue, adjusted me, and instructed me in specific stretching techniques. I left his office with confidence, and followed his instruction. For years I suffered a chronically stiff and sore lower back. Eventually, tiring of the back pain and suffering additionally from over use cycling injuries, I consulted with Dr. Griffes. He prescribed a series of at home stretches and exercises which, combined with several weekly visits to his office for further stretching and manipulation, contrived to cure my cycling disabilities and completely relieve my back pain. I was able to place third in the 40 kilometer road race in my age group during the California Senior Olympics this past June.

I continue to perform, at home, the regimen Dr. Griffes outlined for me and I am not only pain free but back on my bike, riding vigorously and even racing.
