Hello everyone,
Well, June 4th finally came and went. Today I rode my bicycle 72 miles around Lake Tahoe on America’s Most beautiful bike ride (AMBBR) for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS). I feel pretty good, although I took a short nap and drank a beer after a lovely hot shower.
So here are the numbers, and a huge thank you to all of you who contributed to my ride; this is what you are a part of:
I raised over $4100, exceeding my goal of $3500. The Greater LA Team, of which I was a part, raised $210,000. The overall AMBBR, with riders from all over the country, raised $2.6 million for today’s event. This was the 30th year of the AMBBR and this event has raised over $101 million for the LLS. Research from and through the LLS also benefits other cancer research.
Thank you again to all of you who helped, and if you want to ride your bicycle at this event next year, let me know, and we’ll start our own team.
Cheers,
Dr. Ben
