Mid-march invites

You’re invited!

There are some events I am involved with that I want to invite you to.  The first is a lecture that I am giving on Thursday, March 28th at 6:00 pm.  This will be held at the home of Wendy Asarch, Health Coach, and includes dinner.  I am going to speak on Strategies for Aging Gracefully. You may RSVP by calling or texting Wendy at: 805-338-4119 by 3/26 at the latest.

The second event is a Pickleball for a Purpose Tournament I’m helping to organize that will be held on Saturday, May 18th, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, to be played on the Arroyo Vista Courts at 4550 Tierra Rejada Rd., Moorpark (behind the high school). This is a fundraiser to send the student leaders of FCA (the Fellowship of Christian Athletes) to their yearly leadership retreat.

You will be paired with teams of equal ability in pool play, guaranteed 5 games and play within two hours.  We are a 501-C non-profit and the donation is tax-deductible.  Please log on to this link to register:

The third event is the Topanga Banjo Fiddle Contest (TBFC) on Sunday, May 19th (making for a very busy weekend), held at the King Gillette Ranch on Mulholland Highway from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.  This is a fantastic gathering of musicians from all over, with amateur contests and professional performances. https://www.topangabanjofiddle.org/

I happen to be the coordinator for recording videos and taking photographs that day, and if you own a phone or a camera that takes good pictures, I need help in recording the events of the day.  You can attend for free and get lunch with a 3 hour shift helping me record musicians playing their music. You will love it, I guarantee you. (you’ll upload everything to the TBFC website when you’re done)  Text me at 805.358.8572 or email me stretching4life@aol.com if you’re interested.

I invite you all to step up and step out and learn and experience some new things, you’ll be glad you did.

Cheers,

Dr. Ben
