Let’s talk about flow, washing your hands, reducing backache, and drinking water.
This past Monday morning I went mountain biking with my buddies in Sycamore Canyon. It was a beautiful autumn day and we rode over 17 miles up and down roller coasters of hard-packed single tracks and fire roads, and I experienced joy and “flow”. I had to pick bugs out of my teeth from grinning the whole time. When all systems are a go and you can unabashedly embrace the activity with your undivided attention, you’re flowing. Was happening Monday morning.
Below is a writing I came across that I am sharing with you today. Consider it your invitation to expand your psyche and your soul. BG
FLOW (not sure where I found this, but I like it)
Creating space allows for miracles to come in.
if you’re always back-to-back to back-to-back, there’s little time for magic to occur.
Give yourself space and give yourself grace to allow yourself to be at optimal peak performance.
Creating space & grace leads to flow.
Flow is the right amount of challenge or pressure to perform.
Too little = Boredom.
Too much = Stress & overwhelm.
Find your flow like Goldilocks.
“This is just right.”

EXERCISES FOR THE MONTH – 2 back stretches to do daily
The Cobra. Lie on the floor and place your elbows or hands on the floor and lift your upper body off the floor, feeling a stretch all along your spine, particularly the lower back. Hold for 20 – 30 seconds. Breathe. Do this as often as you like.
Child’s Pose. Kneel on the floor, legs slightly apart. Sit on your heels and fold over, placing your hands (and arms) on to the floor, feeling the stretch all along your spine. Hold for 20 – 30 seconds. Breathe. Do as often as you like.
